As a wedding photographer, my main aim is to photograph your wedding day in as unobtrusive a way as possible to provide a beautiful and emotive record for you to look back on. For most of the day I will be observing and photographing your wedding as it unfolds, rather than trying to direct proceedings, though I’m very happy to include a few group photos, and a relaxed portrait session of the two of you around your venue, if you would like.
This mostly “documentary” approach to wedding photography aims to capture the emotions and events that will make your wedding day so unique and unforgettable. These galleries from some recent weddings will hopefully give a flavour of my style. You might notice an element of narrative running through the galleries, as I felt a loose structure could help illustrate photographically the broad story arc of a wedding day, from the fun and (sometimes) nerves of the bride getting ready through to the joy of the first dance and the start of the party.
